Two years after frontman J. Fender suffered a widowmaker heart attack on a flight from North Carolina to London, Afflecks Palace return with Sunshine Death — a record born from survival, recovery and the strange psychological landscape that follows a near-death experience. Self-produced by the band, it’s their most urgent and uncompromising work yet: a record about confronting mortality, refusing to stand still and choosing to keep moving forward.
