Five ordinary blokes perform the extraordinary music of THE STROKES – the most influential band of the 21st century. With a set spanning the entire Strokes catalogue, expect all your favourites: ‘Last Nite’, ‘Reptilia’, ‘Someday’, ‘The Adults Are Talking’, ‘You Only Live Once’, ‘Hard To Explain’, ‘Ode To The Mets’ and plenty more. For any self-respecting Strokes fan, attendance is pretty much mandatory. All the hits. All the Strokes-yness. None of the internal issues. They’re not here to save rock ‘n’ roll, but they might just save your Saturday night.

SUPER EXCITED MUCH!!! A benefit for Ana Maria Nazario

The Continental · Preston

Everyone who plays, organises or attends indie and indie-pop shows in the North West was saddened to hear that uber-fan and unparalleled scene supporter Ana Maria Nazario has been diagnosed with stage 4 cancer. Ana's trekked over from her home in Stockport to Preston many times to attend gigs at The Continental and we've put together a line-up of acts that Ana likes to pay tribute to her and raise some funds for her to complete her bucket-list. THE ROOM, AUTOCAMPER, TIGERS AND FLIES, THE AMBER LIST/ECHOES OF THE BUNNYMEN, GINNEL and THE OPENING SONG (inc Mark Whiteside) will be playing for Ana on Sunday 8th November at The Continental and we'd like you to be there.

Haywards Heath Music Society - Flutes and Frets

Methodist Church · Haywards Heath

We are pleased to welcome back FLUTES AND FRETS, Beth Stone and Daniel Murphy, who play an array of instruments that enable them to express the colours, gesture and emotions of repertoire from the medieval era through to contemporary. Flutes & Frets have toured all over the UK and Europe and won several international Early Music Festival awards. In Autumn 2025 their debut album Heir Of All The Ages traced the evolution of British music over the past six hundred years with flutes, guitars, lutes and the orbos in exciting arrangements highlighted in this new recital.
