About this event

Brooke Law (with band) is on Thursday 18 March 2027 at The Water Rats, London, with doors at 19:30. Tickets start at £17.60, including the booking fee.

Brooke Law’s debut album is a bold statement - anchored by lead singles ‘Real’, ‘Big World’ and the new ‘Freak On’, she invites us to strip away the noise of modern life and stand tall in our own truth. From provocative rock to soulful confessionals, this is music as both challenge and comfort. A challenge to a world growing dangerously artificial. Her powerful voice, akin to rock icons yet wholly her own, blends grit and grace cueing to the core on an album that is both defiant and soulful. With influences ranging from Janis Joplin to Alanis Morissette, Brooke’s voice shifts from vulnerable whispers to defiant roars. Supported by Gibson guitars, who have made her an Epiphone Ambassador, Brooke Law is known for bringing energy and power to her live performances, both solo and with her band. She has performed at various festivals including C2C Festival, The Long Road Festival and Black Deer Festival to name a few. Brooke gets regular radio coverage through the BBC, Absolute Radio, Country Line Radio & TV, London Live TV and others as well as regular mentions in the music press. The full album ‘Naked Heart’ landed in Autumn 2025, with Brooke’s UK band touring in...

Belle Roscoe

The Water Rats · London

Belle Roscoe is an Australian sibling duo, Matty and Julia Gurry, whose harmony-driven folk/rock/Americana sound has drawn comparisons to Fleetwood Mac and The Black Keys. They’ve performed to audiences of 150,000+ in a year, closed the Cannes Film Festival, and played London’s O2 Arena, New York’s Bowery Electric and LA’s United Artists Theatre. Their music has been shaped by collaborations with Grammy-winning producer Matt Ross-Spang, engineer Andrija Tokic, members of Jason Isbell’s 400 Unit, legendary Muscle Shoals session players including a chance encounter with Elvis’s bassist, Norbert Putnam. Their new EP, ‘Talking to the Walrus’, arrives in 2026. Highlights include playing live at the O2 Arena London and duo performances both at Sun recording Studio, Nashville and from La Chapelle Belgium Studio. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oBDZpwoaGCE www.belleroscoe.com
