Cro Cro Land

Stanley Arts · London

3 days, 2 stages. 50 bands... Cro Cro Land is back, and this time we’re taking over three days. For the first time, the festival kicks off with a special Friday evening show across two stages, before the full-day festival erupts across Saturday and Sunday. Previous line-ups have featured Billy Nomates, The Subways, Nova Twins, ARXX, Native James, The Lovely Eggs, Blood Red Shoes, Grandmas House, Goat Girl, Big Joanie, She Drew The Gun, Mattiel, Desperate Journalist and more. Cro Cro Land is a different kind of music gathering: bands mix with fans, differences are celebrated and the whole thing has the feel of one massive house party. Come for the music. Leave the attitude at the door.

Doug Morter went on to carve out a career as the ‘go-to’ vocalist/guitarist of the folk-rock scene performing with the likes of: Magna Carta, Albion Band, Maddy Prior, Michael Chapman and Jerry Donahue... Since resuming touring in 2010 Hunter Muskett has released three further critically acclaimed albums of new material: That Was Then This Is Now, Unafraid and Sober and Roll On. That Was Then This Is Now (Limefield 2013) ‘…unpretentious, classy…much better than it has any right to be. If Bill Leader does nothing more in the world of recording, ‘That Was Then, This Is Now’ will have been a glorious way to bow out.’ Colin Harper (biographer of Bert Jansch), The Afterword Unafraid and Sober (SPC 2017) ‘A lovely album full of great song-writing, lush vocal harmonies and superb musicianship...remarkable that a band can get together after forty years and p...
