About this event

JETSTREAM PONY and THE LEAF LIBRARY at CLUB PRECIOUS #11 is on Sunday 29 November 2026 at The Lexington, London, with doors at 17:00. Tickets start at £13.20, including the booking fee.

Another fantastic bill from those kind folks at Club Precious, who have rapidly established a reputation for curating a series of unmissable nights on the London indie scene. Jetstream Pony return for their second visit to Club Precious, this time moving to the early-evening Lexington following a sold-out show at the Waiting Room and a brilliant support slot with Prolapse at the 100 Club. A potent mix schrammelig post-punk and indiepop, Jetstream Pony are leading lights of the UK indie scene featuring an array of well-known faces, including Beth Arzy (The Luxembourg Signal/Trembling Blue Stars) and Shaun Charman (The Wedding Present/The Popguns). Recent releases include the highly acclaimed second album Bowerbirds and Blue Things (on Spinout Nuggets) and a sessions EP on Precious Recordings of London. (And no, we still don’t know what ‘schrammelig’ means either; they told us to say it.) The Leaf Library are a north London band playing melodic dream-like music built on layers of chiming guitars, pulsing electronics, noise and looping drones. Their most recent studio album, After The Rain, Strange Seeds was released in March this year to acclaim from Mojo (4*s), Uncut (9/10) an...

HDIF Family Disco - All-Ages Daytime Indie Club

The Phoenix Club · London

We've held the HDIF Children's disco at the End Of The Road festival since 2011, and they've been lots and lots of fun. We play our usual mixture of indie pop and soul, and the discos are a wonderful opportunity for kids to bop around to Belle & Sebastian, Allo Darlin', Ramones, Pixies and more, and for their parents to bop along with them. It can often be hard to get out to club nights once you become a parent, so these discos are as much a chance for the parents to go out dancing as they are for the kids. We also want to provide an alternative to the many rave-themed kids discos that are on offer in London. If you'd rather dance to your favourite indie pop and Motown songs with your children, then we're the disco for you! Music will be played at a reasonable level. We'll make sure that the songs aren't played too loud, but if you're worried about volume please do bring along ear defenders for your kids. Everyone is welcome at our kids discos - children, parents and family friends - but we follow similar rules to Coram's Fields - so no admission for adults unless they are accompanied by a child. About The Phoenix: The venue is a wonderful basement bar with a wooden dancefloor. Ent...

The Holy Mothers + Taurus Trakker + Brigandage

Dublin Castle · London

The Holy Mothers - Christmas is just around the corner, so the Holy Mother is needless to say at the forefront of our thoughts. But this be Mothers plural and it’s JoJo upfront , once of JoJo and the Teeth, much loved as they were for their strident, quirky punk n roll. So we await this new vehicle of JoJo’s with about the same excitement and anticipation as the thought of unwrapping Sindy and Action Man of a Xmas back in the day. With words like ‘ferocious’ ‘theatrical’ and ‘dark’ on the lips of admirers, breath is bated. Welcome back JoJo. Taurus Trakker - West London punk duo legends who in their spare time recently created a much applauded stage show/musical all about the rise of the punk rock phenomenon in the UK, it being the golden jubilee n all that. Great combo anyway, with rebel rock nuances that suggest The Clash without ever copying them. And one Mick Jones has been known to adjust knobs and sliders for them I believe so there ya go. Great stuff. Brigandage- with Michelle upfront, just as you’d want it, are well and truly back on the circuit playing those ringing, bright eyed and bushy tailed sassy punk numbers that got the them called Posipunk back in...
