Fordinbridge Music Club present the legend that is John Otway. A brief history… John Otway is an English singer-songwriter who has built a sizeable cult audience through extensive touring, a surreal sense of humour and a self-deprecating underdog persona. From the age of 9, Otway knew he wanted to be a pop star. But even at that young age, having listened to his sister's Beatles and Stones records, he knew he would never be able to do what they do. I think Clint Bradley has just done the equivalent of delivering a container-load of Colt 45’s to Dodge City. He’s also helping to put the western back in country” David Allan, former presenter of BBC Radio 2’s country chow said of Clint’s latest album, quote “If there’s any justice, Clint Bradley’s delightful new album of sweet western music – the sort that conjures up images of Marty Robbins, The Sons of the Pioneers, Gene Aurty and Tex Ritter etc. – should be heard on every radio station in the land – not just on the country shows. Perhaps the most impressive aspect of the ten – song set is that everyone is an original com...
