Jules O’Brian is in her 50s now, and the “helpful” advice about everything she should and shouldn’t

The Canalhouse, Nottingham

About this event

Jules O’Brian is in her 50s now, and the “helpful” advice about everything she should and shouldn’t is on Saturday 7 November 2026 at The Canalhouse, Nottingham, with doors at 15:40. Tickets start at £6.60, including the booking fee.

Jules O’Brian is in her 50s now, and the “helpful” advice about everything she should and shouldn’t be doing just keeps on coming. Whether it’s being advised what not to wear; being advised that you’re never too old and it’s never too late; being advised to use magic sticky tape to disguise droopy jowls, or being advised to join dating sites for people who are apparently hurtling towards death, Jules has had enough. Accompanied by (a life-sized cardboard cut-out of) Liz Hurley, and her trusty friend, Pinot, Jules O’Brian is on her own Middle Age Crusade to silence unsolicited advice.
