Picky New Promotions are proud to bring you another Groove Session at Abington Groove Records, this time featuring Mexican shoegazers VONDRÉ! Vondré is an alternative rock band emerging from Mexico’s underground rock scene, led by Ana Cristina Espinosa. Inspired by the grunge and shoegaze movement of the 1990s and fused with modern strains of rock, the band explores themes of identity, social tension, and darker emotional landscapes. Known for their energetic presence, Vondré connects with audiences through intense live performances and deeply emotional songs. The band has shared stages with renowned international and national acts such as Placebo (Palacio de los Deportes, Mexico City), Evanescence (Teatro Metropólitan, Mexico City), Nothing, Deap Valley, Death Valley Girls (San Francisco Psych Fest), Holy Wave (13th Floor, Austin TX), Triángulo de Amor Bizarro, The Paranoyds, Billy Glitter, The Bright Light Social Hour, and Stuck in the Sound. Picky New Promotions present an International Groove Session featuring SØWT

Abington Groove Records · Northampton

Picky New Promotions are very proud to present a fully international Groove Session at Abington Groove Records in Northampton on Fri, Nov 6, featuring the best in international talent. Headlining are Dutch noisemakers SØWT, one of our favourite discoveries of the past few years. SØWT are noisy artrock featuring true icons of the young Eindhoven NL music scene. Expect strong critical lyrics, super freaky screams, and heavy sound explosions. SØWT creates beautiful melodies that get ripped apart by the horror of our daily existence. Their music shifts between the dissonant and the pleasurable. Supporting are French shoegazers DARKO'S AUFHEBUNG and American postpunk duo PAMPHLETS. Tickets are £12 plus fees in advance. All ages welcome.

HDIF Family Disco - All-Ages Daytime Indie Club

The Phoenix Club · London

We've held the HDIF Children's disco at the End Of The Road festival since 2011, and they've been lots and lots of fun. We play our usual mixture of indie pop and soul, and the discos are a wonderful opportunity for kids to bop around to Belle & Sebastian, Allo Darlin', Ramones, Pixies and more, and for their parents to bop along with them. It can often be hard to get out to club nights once you become a parent, so these discos are as much a chance for the parents to go out dancing as they are for the kids. We also want to provide an alternative to the many rave-themed kids discos that are on offer in London. If you'd rather dance to your favourite indie pop and Motown songs with your children, then we're the disco for you! Music will be played at a reasonable level. We'll make sure that the songs aren't played too loud, but if you're worried about volume please do bring along ear defenders for your kids. Everyone is welcome at our kids discos - children, parents and family friends - but we follow similar rules to Coram's Fields - so no admission for adults unless they are accompanied by a child. About The Phoenix: The venue is a wonderful basement bar with a wooden dancefloor. Ent...
