Thrilled to be hosting a great double header with Pocket and Self Torque, plus openers Vital Throw at Red Sun Moon on Saturday 28th November! Pocket are a new noisy pop punk band from Bristol. Pocket's debut EP is out on Specialist Subject Records and features 8 songs that they made up from their own imaginations. The band features members from Bangers, Shit Present, Gnarwolves, Fresh, Cheerbleederz and Stupid World. Think early Green Day / Ergs! / Ramones /Tenement. Here for a good time, not a long time. And Self Torque are back on one of our bills for more, playing aggro indie punk from Brighton for fans of Against Me / Hot Snakes. Ex-Muncie Girls. Vital Throw is London band who play "power pop for nerds," blending intricate, hook-heavy melodic indie with intensely personal themes—including songs written during periods of physical recovery and dealing with chronic anxiety. They joined us earlier this year at the Achers release show, and have since released a couple of singles on the excellent Everything Sucks label, can’t wait to hear what’s next!
