Tom Seals

Boisdale of Canary Wharf · London

'One of the UK's finest boogie woogie pianists and entertainers' — Jools Holland, Patron of Music, Boisdale 3. Main listing copy Jools Holland awarded him Boogie Woogie Artist of the Year at the Boisdale Music Awards. Tom Jones compared him to Little Richard. Noddy Holder put him in the top five boogie piano players in the world. Three opinions, all from people who have forgotten more about piano music than most of us will ever hear. Tom Seals has played Ronnie Scott's, Birdland on Broadway, the Blue Note, Glastonbury, Montreux Jazz Festival and Hyde Park supporting Pink Floyd. He represented Britain at Expo 2020 Dubai, performing solo to 7,000 people in the Al Wasl Dome with Prince William in the audience. He has a 13-week Sky TV series to his name and toured the London Palladium in 2025 with Strictly's Aljaž and Janette. He also regularly does duelling pianos with Jools Holland, which tells you everything you need to know about where he sits in this world. None of that changes what a Tom Seals show at Boisdale actually feels like, which is a Tuesday night that gets considerably better once he sits down at the piano. Boogie woogie, jazz, swing, singalongs and enough wit and war...

Jools Holland

Boisdale of Canary Wharf · London

Jools Holland learned boogie woogie from his uncle at eight years old in Blackheath. By his mid-teens he was playing paid gigs in South London pubs. At sixteen he co-founded Squeeze. He left just before "Cool for Cats" and "Up the Junction" made them household names, co-presented The Tube with Paula Yates, came back to Squeeze, left again and in 1992 launched Later with Jools Holland on BBC Two, which is still running and is still the programme every musician in the world wants to play. He has an OBE, an autobiography called Barefaced Lies and Boogie-Woogie Boasts and has placed himself, as he once put it, at the centre of a global community comprising just about anyone who is anyone in music. He is also Boisdale's Patron of Music, and this is the first time he has brought this show here. The Masterclass is not a concert. It is an evening with Jools at the piano, illustrated live with music, in which he reflects on the career, the stories, the friendships and the performances that have put him at the heart of music history for fifty years. He is joined by his full band including Ruby Turner, Dave Swift, Ed Richardson, Louise Marshall and Sumudu Jayatilaka, the people who have been...

Celine in Vegas

Boisdale of Canary Wharf · London

Between 2011 and 2019 Céline Dion performed 427 shows at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas, selling 1.74 million tickets and grossing $296 million. She became the most profitable music act in Las Vegas since Elvis Presley. The repertoire she performed there, "My Heart Will Go On", "The Power of Love", "Think Twice", "Because You Loved Me" and the rest, is some of the most vocally demanding music ever written for a live show. Crystal Cimaglia grew up in New York, trained in musical theatre with The Walt Disney Company performing across the US and Hong Kong, became a headline vocalist with Celebrity Cruises and then came back to Manhattan to headline her own shows at Feinstein's/54 Below and the Waldorf Astoria. She fronted 1980s band Jessie's Girl at Le Poisson Rouge and toured the US with vocal trio The American Bombshells. Celine in Vegas performs exclusively from the Las Vegas set lists, with a live band, which means the show is built around the same songs Céline performed 427 times at Caesars Palace. That is the standard the material sets and Crystal Cimaglia meets it. Expect the full arc of the Céline catalogue, from the early hits through to the Caesars Palace er...

DJ Nights: Mi-Soul Radio Fridays

Boisdale of Canary Wharf · London

Dinner & Table Reservations from 5pm. DJs from 7pm-2am Boisdale has Jools Holland as Patron of Music, a live programme that runs seven nights a week and a NEXO sound system installed because the music demands it. Mi-Soul Radio has Gordon Mac MBE, Kiss FM in its DNA and thirty years of soul, house and R&B running through everything it does. On Friday nights the two come together on the first floor and the result is exactly what you would hope for. The selectors rotate through the Mi-Soul roster each week, which keeps the sets fresh without ever dropping the standard. Deep soulful house one Friday, classic R&B the next, but always played by someone who has a genuine relationship with the music rather than a playlist and a laptop. Start on the heated terrace with a cocktail overlooking Cabot Square, move inside when the night builds and let the sound system do the rest. First Floor Bar & Heated Garden Terrace Nestled in Cabot Square and overlooking the fountain with the Canary Wharf skyline beyond, the first floor bar and heated garden terrace is a destination in its own right. Fine wines, premium spirits and expertly crafted cocktails, with a selection that covers everything from rar...
