Night River Presents: Songbook If you've ever stayed for the final song at a Night River show, you'll know the feeling: a room full of people singing together. Songbook is an entire evening inspired by that moment. Led by DG Solaris aka Danny Green, we'll explore songs by artists we've hosted, songs that have inspired them, and a few favourites along the way. Everything is taught by ear, so there's nothing to prepare and no need to read music. No experience is needed. Learn some great songs, meet some lovely people, and spend an evening singing together. Doors: 7.00pm Singing: 7.15–8.45pm (with a short break) Bring: Just yourself. A flask of tea and a bottle of water is a good plan.

DE ANIMA

El Rincon · Bristol

Brand new trio about which we are very excited. Bristol-based De Anima play “prog-& jazz-inflected ‘alt rock’, singing stories that explore intimate interactions, real life events and politics, often sourcing lyrics verbatim from unusual places” - but that description doesn’t really do justice to their beautifully unusual sound and harmony-laden vocals. They are guitarist/singer Jojo Holmes, drummer Matt Jones (see Nov 12th!), and bassist/singer Jen Bell. Check out their videos at www.de-anima.uk and then snap up your tickets!
