About this event

Terra Spencer is on Friday 23 April 2027 at Town Hall, Kirton in Lindsey, with doors at 19:00. Tickets start at £17.60, including the booking fee.

Cinematic storytelling is the Hallmark of many great Canadian songwriters, but in Nova Scotian Terra Spencer's case it is charged with the 70's warmth of Elton John, Karen Carpenter and Jackson Browne. Terra is a sparklingly intelligent writer, open hearted, insightful and eloquent. As natural as a poet as ever to put pen to paper and as beautiful as her melodies would imply. Although her butterscotch voice, deft fingerstyle guitar, and gospel charged piano make her a formidable musician, it is her onstage ease and crackling East Coast wit that make each show feel like a personal conversation in a room of 50 or 500.

Jaimee Harris

Town Hall · Kirton in Lindsey

Town Hall Live is delighted to welcome Jaimee Harris to Kirton - in Lindsey. Jaimee is playing her first UK Tour as a solo artist. Many fans will have seen her previously playing with and supporting Mary Gauthier. In 2023 she released her breakthrough album 'Boomerang Town' that examines growing up in small town America (Waco, Texas) but longing to leave for a better life elsewhere. It marked a leap forward for Jaimee and drew comparisons with her contemporaries, such as Emmylou Harris, Patty Griffin and Gretchen Peters. She's got a songwriter's instinct for the hard truth and a voice that brings them home with a visceral punch.
