Buddy Holly Experience – Winter Dance Party Tour 2027 Put on your dancing shoes and get ready to relive the golden age of rock 'n' roll. The Buddy Holly Experience is a high-energy live celebration of the music that changed popular music forever. Featuring timeless classics including That'll Be The Day, Peggy Sue, Oh Boy!, Everyday, Heartbeat, Rave On and many more, this uplifting show captures the excitement, spirit and youthful energy that made Buddy Holly one of the most influential artists in music history. Performed by acclaimed UK touring musician Sunjay, the show is packed with unforgettable songs, audience participation, fascinating stories and a dance-filled second half guaranteed to get toes tapping and feet moving. For Sunjay, this music has always been personal. The very first song he ever learned to sing and play was Buddy Holly's Peggy Sue. Then, in the spring of 2017, he was invited to play Buddy Holly in the UK touring theatre production Buddy Holly & The Cricketers. Vincent Flatts Final drive

Katie Fitzgerald's · Stourbridge

If you've seen the Birmingham (UK) band on the road, you'll know what they're all about. If not, you'll figure it out real fast once you hear 'em. Essentially, Vincent Flatts Final Drive is a southern-infused, blues 'n boogie band, with country rock and exciting boogie at its core. But while the music goes through the genre gears, one thing is constant: Steve 'Bertie' Burton's killer voice.

Joshua Burnell - Escape from Condor Keep Tour 2026

Katie Fitzgerald's · Stourbridge

Like an intergalactic troubadour who crash-landed last century, Joshua Burnell makes retro chamber pop for the modern world. Fresh off the back of a UK tour including a growing number of sold out dates, Burnell is unleashing his second tour and album this year: Condor Keep & Other Stories.Born in France, but raised on the move, including years in Linlithgow, Kendal and Yorkshire, the eclecticism of Joshua’s influences mirrors this restless movement. There are shades of 70s rock, singer-songwriter folk and classical sophistication drawn together with a bookish edge. His music has been compared to The Decemberists, Al Stewart and The Observer wrote: “much of it would fit comfortably in a Peter Gabriel-era Genesis set.” His show feels like poring over an anthology of otherworldly tales yet with the flamboyance and emotion of a stadium rock show.Sensitive to the social challenges we all face in today’s age, Joshua creates universes to offer both a temporary escape but also to reflect today’s injustices through his characters and stories with the understanding that bringing people together is the remedy. The standing ovation he received at Fairport’s Cropredy Convention amon...

Chris Wood

Kitchen Garden Cafe · Birmingham

Chris Wood is an uncompromising writer whose music reveals his love for the un-official history of the English speaking people. With gentle intelligence he weaves the tradition with his own contemporary parables. A self-taught musician, composer and song writer, Chris is a lifelong autodidact whose independent streak shines through everything he does. Always direct and unafraid to speak his mind, his song writing has been praised for its surgical clarity. He cites his major influence as “Anon”. His most recent album So Much to Defend has received wide critical acclaim and includes reflections on minor league football, empty nest syndrome, learning to swim, Cook-in Sauce and, not least, the Gecko as a metaphor for contemporary society. Hollow Point; his chilling ballad of the shooting of Jean Charles Menezez, won a BBC Folk Award (he's won six.) and emphatically secured Wood’s place as a serious speech-master for the unofficial history of England. Collaborators include Martin Carthy, Dizraeli, Billy Bragg, Andy Cutting, Andy Irvine, Karine Polwart, Jean Francois Vrod, The Imagined Village, Hugh Lupton, Martin Butler and many others. On stage Chris has the air of a craftsman wh...
