No Notes Improv are a troupe who specialise in classic UCB long-form styles such as The Harold, The Armando, and the Slacker - adding our own special brand of manic energy into each format. We take suggestions such as insignificant, everyday task somebody in the audience did recently, from how they believe the world will end. So talk about range.

The Comedy Mill

Jimmy’s · Manchester

A showcase of Manchester’s hardest working comedy groups. The award-winning Totally Improvised Company return to The Comedy Mill with a festive show for adults! Heroes, villains, songs and silliness are guaranteed this December as the gang create brand-new pantomime adventures using audience suggestions and a sprinkling of fairy dust. Oh yes they do! This version of the hit show is strictly adults only — raunchier, ruder and very, very daft, it's a night stuffed with more innuendoes than you can stick down a panto dame's knickers. The cast lovingly remix familiar pantomime tropes and characters to create a show where anything can happen. The performers don’t know their roles beforehand and audiences might even get involved in the action. The story and songs are all composed on the spot with live music, games and plenty of festive fun for all. So if you’re bored of the same old pantomimes every year, you won’t want to miss this fabulous festive show. The show had sell-out shows across the North West last year so early booking is advised for this one! Reviews for The Totally Improvised Company shows: “Very, Very, Very Funny” ★★★★★ Mix Up Theatre “It’s a fu...

How Far Away Are They

St Gregory's Social Club · Bolton

HOW FAR AWAY ARE THEY? An Evening with the Cast of Phoenix Nights SPECIAL SHOW – BACK WHERE IT ALL BEGAN TWO SHOWS: 2PM & 6PM This one is a bit special. How Far Away Are They? is heading back to Farnworth for two very special shows at St Gregory’s Social Club – one of the real locations used to film Phoenix Nights. For one day only, some of the cast are returning to the club where it actually happened. Join Neil Fitzmaurice, Toby Foster, Steve Edge, Janice Connolly and Archie Kelly, with Chelsey Ward keeping order, for stories, memories and absolute nonsense from one of Britain’s best-loved comedies. They’ll be talking about making Phoenix Nights, the characters, the scenes that still get shouted at them in the street, what went on behind the cameras, the huge Manchester Arena live shows and plenty of things that probably shouldn’t be repeated. And this time they’ll be doing it surrounded by a little bit of Phoenix Nights history. There’ll also be a full audience Q&A – your chance to ask the questions you’ve wanted answering for the last 20-odd years. Phoenix Nights has never been available on the streaming services, yet more than two decades after it first appe...
