THE PAVILION • www.instagram.com/theofficialpavilion Bursting at the seams with energy and angst, The Pavilion are a Bristol-based alt-indie-rock band that deliver raw and anthemic tracks with a live show you don’t want to miss. The band is comparable to the likes of The Backseat Lovers, Catfish and the Bottlemen, and Stereophonics, carving a niche in the UK’s indie-rock scene. Since their inception in 2023, the band has played extensively around the country, especially in Bristol, with shows at Rough Trade, Crofters Rights, Exchange, and The Louisiana. BUCKET FIGHT • www.instagram.com/bucketfightband Doesn’t need much explaining. Punchy, sharp, lethal. A Swindon indie-rock band formed in ‘25 in an Old Town garage. Chock-full with original music you’ll want to hear before you kick it.

Joey Gardiner + Live Band

The Victoria · Swindon

Bristol based BIMM Alumni Joey Gardiner proclaimed that "early 1975 vibes" was the aim, and a main and clear influence on the body of work he was set to write. Whilst the conventions and feel of young, indie bedroom pop are there, the rule breaking shines through as his catalogue takes on a more rough and ready rock like feel with a nod to some darker subjects, touching upon mental health and addiction. In early 2023, Joey caught the attention of Adam Crowther from BBC Radio Bristol, where he landed track of the week with the single 'Dirty Cigarette'. The additional exposure led to Joey being invited to record a live set for BBC Bristol, performing eight of his own songs and a cover of Prince's 'Purple Rain'. Adam goes on to say "Joey has a very bright future ahead of him and it has been amazing to have you in for this week. An artist I have been really excited to see here in the studio for a long time, certainly one to watch" Having played a handful of live shows around the UK, Adam Crowther declared that Joey Gardiner was "Discovered Here" on BBC upload, which led to an inclusion on the BBC Uploads Big New Sound 2023. Following a period of writing, Joey returned with the single '...

Rocketsuit Rogue

The Victoria · Swindon

ROCKETSUIT ROGUE Monday 9th November | The Vic, Swindon | £10 Fronted by RIAA Gold-certified songwriter, vocalist, and guitarist Matty Lewis — best known for his years fronting Zebrahead, where he earned international acclaim, a Gold record, and toured the world, Rocketsuit Rogue is a bold new chapter. Loud, guitar-driven, and built on soaring hooks and anthemic choruses, this is a band shaped by years on the road and driven by a renewed creative fire. Their debut album, produced by Cameron Webb (Pennywise, Motörhead), channels inner struggle, survival, and the search for meaning in a chaotic world, drawing on classic 1950s sci-fi and end-of-the-world cinema to turn personal battles into something cinematic and universal. Expect an electric live show: rocket-powered anthems for the apocalypse, played by a frontman with real pedigree. 📍 The Vic, Swindon 📅 Monday 9th November 🎟️ Tickets £10

An evening with John Kirkpatrick at Cafe No9

Cafe No9 · Sheffield

JOHN KIRKPATRICK The Solo Christmas Show “CAROLLING & CRUMPETS” Taking its title from John’s unforgettable song telling the Nativity story from the point of view of the animals in the stable, this show is a heart-warming look at the timeless rituals found in the folklore and folk music of England at Midwinter. John peels away the commercial gloss of modern Christmas to reveal the powerful pagan urges that race through us all at this time of year, and the life and death struggle that is symbolised in so many traditional songs and customs. And if that all sounds just a little too intense, then rest assured that the mysterious and murky goings-on in these magical songs of wassailing, wren-hunting, stirring the fire, and incessant feasting, all come dressed up in a glittering finery of toe-tapping tunes and cracking choruses. Add to the mixture a light-hearted smattering of hilarious original songs, a sprinkling of carols both familiar and unfamiliar, all stirred up with John’s usual panache and energy, and supported by his scintillating skill on a variety of squeeze-boxes, and you have an unbeatable recipe for having a rattling good sing, guaranteed to keep the spirits cheery...
