Zoë Nicol

Green Note · London

Zoë Nicol believes songs can do more than tell stories; they can also build worlds. Her creative life is shaped by a fascination with both the landscapes around us and those within us. Inspired by the conversations found in podcasts such as On Purpose, Feel Better, Live More and The Minimalists, Zoë’s songwriting is informed by a curiosity about what helps people, communities and the wider world flourish. A singer-songwriter from Kent with Liverpudlian and Irish roots, Zoë is best known for her work with Worry Dolls, the acclaimed duo who performed alongside artists including Robert Plant and Mumford & Sons, were nominated for Single of the Year at the AMA Awards, and received The Drake YolanDa Award. Career highlights include Bob Harris’ Under The Apple Tree sessions, Glastonbury Festival and performances on the main stage at Cambridge Folk Festival.
