He crafts thoughtful, memorable indie-folk music which rambles through various offshoots of Americana. Gentle, finger-picked guitar. Captivating, evocative melodies. Warm, rich vocals. Sam’s latest album, Swimming (2025), was acclaimed by publications including Spin, Uncut, Bandcamp and Aquarium Drunkard. He has played hundreds of shows across the US, sharing bills with Jake Xerxes Fussell, Joan Shelley, Diane Cluck, Doug Paisley and others. “This fingerpicking guitar virtuoso characterizes the folk spirit in its finest sense.” Paste “Swimming foregrounds his graceful guitar playing, his quietly intense vocals, and most of all his observant songwriting, all of which reveal new wisdom with each spin.” Spin https://sammoss.bandcamp.com/ LEAH SINEAD Leah Sinead is a musician and writer whose work quietly gained attention for its fragile, haunting sound under her previous alias, Keto. Pefkin + Jacken Elswyth + Melanie Pegge

By Our Hands We Make Our Way · Nottingham

An evening of experimental folk music in the warmth and magic of By Our Hands We Make Our Way with: PEFKIN Gayle Brogan performs solo under the name Pefkin, creating slowly-unfolding, ritualistic hymnals that draw heavily on the landscape and natural world, using processed violin/viola, electronics, voice and field recordings. She has released albums internationally on labels such as Morc, Wild Silence, Nite Hive, Folklore Tapes and Sonido Polifonico. She is also one half of innovative folk duo Burd Ellen, a third of psychedelic electric folk trio Meadowsilver, a member of megalith-inspired trio MMM (with Elizabeth Still and Nick Jonah Davis), and has collaborated with cult Irish singer-songwriter Alison O'Donnell and modular synth composer Jonathan Sharp. Pefkin emerged after the retro-futuristic psych / electronic duo Electroscope went into hibernation in 2000. She has released over 20 albums, most recently "The Rescoring" on Penelope Trappes' Nite Hive label, an album of sonorous viola drone layered with uneasy electronics and songs that reflect on transformation and change, and “Unfurling”, released in January 2026 by Belgian label Morc. Gayle moved from Scotland to Sheffie...
