They combine tightly woven three part vocal harmonies reminiscent of '30s and '40s American vocal groups The Mills Brothers and the Ink Spots; ridiculous guitar show-offery that draws as much from Django Reinhardt as it does from Guthrie Govan, and double bass solos that drag Pops Foster's slap technique kicking and screaming into the 21st century. The Brighton-based trio have been blowing away audiences since 2021. In support, Le Trio qu'à trois, comprising of Gilles, Max, and Gus, revisit classic jazz standards.
