The Beatles' Rubber Soul - Live with Jumbo Gibson
Town Mill Theatre · Strathaven
Join us in celebration of some of the best music ever written as this show returns to Strathaven Mill in 2027. This show has been so popular that it is now enjoying an extended run. And after a fantastic sold out show in Strathaven in Feb 2026, Jumbo Gibson are delighted to be back. Experience all 14 tracks from Rubber Soul live; from 'Drive My Car' to 'Run For Your Life' and every track in between. The band will play classics such as 'Norwegian Wood', 'Nowhere Man', 'Michelle' and 'In My Life', as well as the single, 'We Can Work It Out' b/w 'Day Tripper' (released the same day as the album back in 1965). And if that isn't enough for you, the evening will close with a second set packed full of Beatles classics. If you've seen the show previously you will want to see it again as the band are always adding new Beatles classics to the set. Jumbo Gibson are one of Scotland's most renowned live and originals bands, playing events and festivals around the country for the past decade. 12 out of the 14 songs on Rubber Soul were never played live by The Beatles themselves, so this is a one-off opportunity for you to hear how they would have sounded, played authentically by a 4-piece band....
