Braw Gigs Presents: Ye Gods / Repeated Viewing

Home Bar · Edinburgh

I’m very pleased to welcome Ye Gods and Repeated Viewing to the Home Bar in a double header of intense industrial frequencies and outright horror synth from two old pals and stalwarts of the UK underground with the amazing Skull Jacket to open the night. Ye Gods is the post-industrial musical project of prolific British artist Antoni Maiovvi, film composer, producer and co-founder of the influential Giallo Disco label. Blending dark ambient, electroacoustic texture, playful sound design with quasi-folk song structure, Ye Gods evokes a place both wonderful and strange. Antoni’s career began in Bristol, UK (now based Stateside in New Haven, Connecticut) - his work spans everything from noise rock and italo to film scores (both real and imagined) with his unique blend of styles which has earned him a dedicated cult following since the early 2000’s, it’s great to have him back again. Repeated Viewing returns to the Capital – you may have caught his triumphant 2nd ever live gig in the Banshee back in 2023, a must for fans of John Carpenter, Goblin and Tangerine Dream. The solo project by Glasgow's Alan Sinclair who traverses through a phantasmagorical world of crooked cops, ce...

Callaghan

Town Hall · Kirton in Lindsey

Callaghan is a rare kind of artist - her voice draws you in with warmth and honesty, whilst her songwriting paints stories that stay in your head long after the last note fades. She's not just a performer, she's a passionate musical experience. After a decade in America from 2010, she returned to the UK in 2020. Championed by the likes of Bob Harris and Jeremy Vine she has been a three time BBC Radio 2 play-listed artist and in 2025 released her stunning album 'The Music You Gave Me'. Just released is a live album that was recorded in December 2025 at The Distillery, Bristol with a full band. For her Town Hall Live concert she will again be accompanied by Ant Clark on keyboards. Support will come from Ed Cosens from Sheffield. Ed is best known from The Reverend and The Makers. Ed has now found his own voice , singing his own beautifully crated songs with the skill of a seasoned balladeer.

Dom Glynn & His Sunday Best

Green Note · London

‘What do you get when you have an Englishman from Birmingham, UK, playing the sort of vintage two-steppin' tunes that country's founding fathers would be proud of? The unique and intriguing sound of Dom Glynn & His Sunday Best.’ – (Holler.) Putting in the hours - that’s how the greats crack the code. It’s a tried-and-true path, but one that demands total dedication and serious talent. Dom Glynn has both in spades. In his early twenties, this singing, guitar-slinging Brit was already living for and off music, playing endless sets of songs by his American heroes in music bars and venues in and around London. He’s since mastered the canon of classic country music and has been inspired to write his own future standards. Now, armed with those songs and his band His Sunday Best, in 2025 he’s been hitting the road for the first time, with a tour of The Netherlands and Germany in July and a UK tour in September. Now 28, Glynn already has several releases under his belt, and a new album is set to drop on August 22nd. His songwriting echoes the spirit of legends like Johnny Cash and Hank Williams Sr., while his guitar work recalls the elegant fingerpicking of Mississippi John H...
